REFUND & RETURN POLICY

 

The Effect

At The Effect, we take pride in delivering high-quality products and a great customer experience. Please review our policy carefully before placing an order.

 

ALL SALES & ORDER PROCESSING

Due to the limited nature of our drops, all sales are final unless otherwise stated below. Once an order has been placed, it cannot be canceled or modified.

Orders are processed and shipped as quickly as possible. Once an order leaves our warehouse, shipping responsibility is transferred to the carrier.

 

DOMESTIC ORDERS (UNITED STATES)

LOST OR MISSING PACKAGES

Packages Marked “Delivered”

If your tracking information shows that your package has been marked as Delivered, but you cannot locate it:

  • Please check with household members, neighbors, or your building concierge
  • Allow 3–5 business days, as packages may arrive late or be scanned early
  • If the package is still missing after this time, contact us at Theeffect.movement@gmail.com

In these cases:

  • Refunds are not issued
  • A one-time replacement may be offered at our discretion if inventory allows
  • If a replacement is unavailable, store credit may be issued

 

Packages Lost in Transit

If your package has been in transit for 10+ business days with no delivery update:

  • Please contact us so we can investigate with the carrier
  • We will issue a replacement if the package is confirmed lost
  • Refunds will only be issued if a replacement is not available

 

STOLEN PACKAGES

The Effect is not responsible for packages stolen after delivery.

  • No refunds will be issued for stolen packages
  • A one-time replacement may be offered at our discretion

We strongly recommend shipping to a secure address.

 

DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS

If your item arrives damaged or defective:

  • Please email Theeffect.movement@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery
  • Include your order number and clear photos of the issue

We will offer:

  • A replacement or
  • A full refund (customer’s choice)

The Effect will cover all shipping costs in these cases.

 

RETURNS (SIZE OR CHANGE OF MIND)

We accept returns under the following conditions:

  • Requests must be made within 30 days of delivery
  • Items must be:
    • Unworn
    • Unwashed
    • In original condition with tags
  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs
  • Refunds are issued once the item is received and inspected

 

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

IMPORTANT NOTICE

All international orders are final sale.

 

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING ISSUES

  • We are not responsible for lost, delayed, or stolen international shipments
  • No refunds or replacements will be issued for international shipping issues
  • Customs delays are outside of our control

 

DUTIES & TAXES

  • Customers are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and fees
  • These charges are non-refundable

 

ADDITIONAL TERMS

 

  • Only one replacement is allowed per customer per order
  • Repeated replacement requests may be denied
  • We reserve the right to refuse service in cases of suspected abuse or fraud
